Alexis Lichine Bordeaux Cinsault

The Chevalier Alexis Lichine Bordeaux Cinsault rose pays d’oc, Cinsault Grape is produced on the Cos d’Estournel estate. It is surrounded by some of the most excellent Bordeaux wine merchants, and winemakers found anywhere in the region. Produced is a rosé that is exceptionally light and clear with a rich, pleasing flavour profile largely consisting of red fruit.The taste and notes of this wine are so distinctive that the wine connoisseur Alexis Lichine was able to identify the origin and year of a bottle through sipping alone. This is a challenge that even the greatest of connoisseurs fear due to its difficulty. The bouquet featured subtle with fragrances of forest undergrowth, fruits and cedar wood, probably indicating a Médoc. However, it was the fullness of this 1929 bottle and its chocolately taste that led Alexis Lichine to his identification. The usual persistent tannins had disappeared with age.Aromas: Very expressive and fruity, with notes of red fruit, strawberries, and spices.Serving recommendations: This is a rosé that may be served with cold meats, salads, grilled meat, barbecued meat, cheese, fondues, and raclettes to achieve great results. It is also an ideal partner for aperitifs, salads, and barbecues.
