Carburizing Salt Bath non cyaniding

Carburizing salt bath, also known as non-cyanide salt bath carburizing, is a heat treatment process used to introduce carbon into the surface of steel parts to increase hardness and wear resistance. Carbon Diffusion: The heat and carbon-rich environment in the salt bath facilitate the diffusion of carbon atoms into the surface of the parts. This process creates a hardened and carbon-rich layer, commonly known as a “case,” which increases the surface hardness and wear resistance of the treated parts. Quenching: After the desired time, the parts are typically removed from the bath and rapidly quenched in a suitable medium, such as oil or water, to cool them down. Quenching helps to stabilize the carburized layer and achieve the desired hardness. Post-Treatment: Depending on the specific requirements and material, additional processes such as tempering, stress relieving, or machining may be performed to achieve the desired final properties and dimensions. As the Price of Sodium Cyanide is much higher now therefore using this formula which is composed of without cyanide addition. The Hardness and case are also built in less time  and this formula works from 800 C to 950 C . For all steel grades low carbon MS and Die steel material easily gain the hardness.
