PENN® Neoprene Conventional Reel Covers

Overall, it’s a pretty good reel cover. Definitely worth the money considering the prices that some of these reels go for. I did have trouble sizing these covers to my reel model, a Squall 25, because it wasn’t listed on the Penn size chart. There are good stitches at the seems, but not so good stitches at the Velcro tab to secure the cover. The Penn logo looks pretty good, and I hope it doesn’t peel or crack after exposure to the elements in the long run. I did order 2 sizes, and was thankful there were free returns for the size that didn’t fit. The XXS size cover was snug, and the housing around the handle really made for a tight fit. I picture the Velcro’s stitching tearing away over time. The XS had room to spare and can easily fit a reel larger than what I have, but there is less stress on the Velcro tab. I didn’t experience any problems with the seller and did keep the XS cover.
