DescriptionMDMA Purity TestA fast and simple method to determine the purity of MDMA.Originally developed for officers to determine whether they are dealing with the top of the supply chain or a lower level dealer, the MDMA Purity Test will supply people and agencies with the tools to determine the purity of MDMA.Suppliers often cut their product with dangerous adulterants to increase profit margins. Most are harmless but some can be extremely dangerous. Generally, the higher the content of MDMA present in the sample, the lower the chances of finding adulterants in the sample. With this test people and agencies can quickly determine the purity of the cocaine they come across. Based on the results of this test they can determine if they are dealing with a dealer at the top of the supply chain or if they are dealing with a low level dealer. All of this without having to wait for a laboratory analysis.Please see the top right chart included in each test kit. For the MDMA Purity Test always observe the top layer. If the bottom layer is coloured it may be the result of contaminants.MDMA CUTS: Some reactions may disrupt the colours. If the sample has been cut with certain substances, reactions may take place. Please see the list of substances and their reactions. Benzocaine – Bottom layer colour changes to very light yellow. Top layer colour remains the same. (MDMA only colours top layer) BZP – Top layer colour changes to bright yellow and leaves residue on the ampoule between the 2 layers. (MDMA will not leave this residue) MCPP and TFMPP – Top layer colour changes to yellow- orange colour and leaves residue on the ampoule between the 2 layers. (MDMA will not leave this residue) MDA – Will have similar reactions to MDMA Paracetamol (acetaminophen) and Phenacetin – Both top and bottom layers turn yellow. (MDMA only colours top layer)If these reactions take place this will interfere with the results and cannot be accurately determined.MDMA Purity Test Instructions:1. Weigh 20 milligrams of the sample you want to test in a powder form. 2. Open the ampoule and put the sample into the ampoule. 3. Shake the ampoule gently for the sample to be mixed with the contents of the ampoule. 4. For best results, wait 15-45 minutes and then observe and compare the top layer with the provided colour chart Note: Compare the top layer. For best results use 20 mg (0.020g).
