Brook Side Bakewell In Derbyshire Mug

Bakewell is a lovely picturesque town in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire. This illustration shows the waterway through the centre of Bakewell and a few of the pretty stone cottages in the town.   Part of the Lisa Swift collection The design is printed on either side of the mug. Lisa Swift is a local artist from just north of Chesterfield.  A couple of years ago she was introduced to drawing digitally on an iPad.  Although she continues to love pencil drawing and painting, drawing digitally has also become one of her favourite mediums. Derbyshire with the Peak District are on her doorstep and a wonderful source of inspiration.  She loves drawing landscapes, buildings and wildlife. Lisa hopes to build her collection of landscapes and beautiful buildings whilst visiting places such as Yorkshire, Kent and her favourite location in the UK, Devon.
